We are delighted to be participating in the following concert:

Barnardo’s Young Supporters Concert at the Royal Albert Hall

Friday 5th June 2009 at 6.30pm.

There will be many school choirs attending this wonderful event and we are privileged to be a part of it. Children will be rehearsing the songs during Choir. There are some great numbers, one from Joseph, the Lion King and other very well known songs such as Thankyou for the Music. It is very exciting indeed.

Children will be in London for the full day and the evening. It will be a long day requiring concentration and enthusiasm! We will not take any children who we do not feel will be up for such a busy, demanding day. We are opting all children in Arabian up to Tyr in, unless asked otherwise.

This National event is primarily to raise funds for Barnardos, the well known children’s charity. All children perfoming are asked to buy the special tee-shirt (order form to follow shortly) and we very much hope lots of parents will buy tickets to attend the evening performance. In this way, significant sums of money can be raised and our students will have a truly memorable day. Please order your tickets as below, not through the school. You do not pay for your child performer, although we will be asking for a small contribution to the cost of hiring a coach for the day.

Grand Tier and Loggia Boxes £25 adult £17 under 16

2nd Tier Boxes, Front Arena and Stalls £20 adult £14 under 16

Rear Arena £18 adult £12 under 16

Front Circle £15 adult £9 under 16

Rear Circle £12 adult £8 under 16

Restricted view £7 adult £5 under 16

All monies raised from this concert will go towards vital childcare work in the region.
