What an amazing day we had 60 children from CIS, aged between 8 and 14 had an eventful day at the Royal Albert Hall, culminating in a really moving performance. Highlights included a medley from Joseph and his Technicolour Dreamcoat and Queen. Although our journey was not as smooth as we had hoped (the coach broke down in London, a long way from the Albert Hall and we had to take two underground trains to get there!) everyone had an amazing day. The atmosphere of the building was incredible and all participants really felt they were honoured to be able to perform in such a magnificent venue. £40,000 was raised by the concert, which will help Barnardo’s in their quest to support needy, neglected and suffering children in the UK. Well Done to all who took part. I am proud of you.
