Barnardos Concert

June 7th, 2009

What an amazing day we had! 60 children from CIS, aged between 8 and 14 had an eventful day at the Royal Albert Hall, culminating in a really moving performance. Highlights included a medley from Joseph and his Technicolour Dreamcoat and Queen. Although our journey was not as smooth as we had hoped (the coach broke down in London, a long way from the Albert Hall and we had to take two underground trains to get there!) everyone had an amazing day.

As always CIS children and parents have been very generous in their support of fund-raising for the charities we have promoted this term. Royal Albert Hall Concert

March 14th, 2009

Dear all,

We are delighted to be participating in the following concert:

Barnardo’s Young Supporters Concert at the Royal Albert Hall

Friday 5th June 2009 at 6.30pm.

There will be many school choirs attending this wonderful event and we are privileged to be a part of it. Children will be rehearsing the songs during Choir. There are some great numbers, one from Joseph, the Lion King and other very well known songs such as Thankyou for the Music. It is very exciting indeed…
