Carribean
Dear Parents,
Welcome back to a busy term. We look forward to some summer sunshine so that we can take full advantage of our wonderful position and make good use of the park!
Firstly I will highlight any timetable changes and classroom information, and secondly give an outline curriculum for this term.
Please find attached our new timetable. The main change of which is swimming on a Monday morning. Please note:
P.E. On Mondays children should wear their school uniform and bring their swimming kit to change at the pool. On Tuesdays children should bring P.E. kit to change at school.
On Thursdays children should wear their P.E kit to school.
Snacks: Thank you all for providing healthy snacks. Please ensure that your child has a bottle of water in the classroom refilled daily.
Toys: Toys are not allowed at school. As well as potentially disrupting class time, loss or damage causes distress and can lead to much searching time in a busy day!
V.I.P Talks: These have been so successful and by popular request we will continue this term.
This term please help your child to prepare a talk about a favourite book. This could be stories, poems, fiction or non-fiction. As well as telling us what the story is about and why it is a favourite, your child may like to tell us about the author and illustrator and perhaps suggest other titles by the same author. V.I.P talks were wonderfully prepared last term and prompt cards helped the children enormously in front of an audience.
Schedule: Friday May 9th Alex
May 16th Ellora
May 23rd Ross
June 6th Ben Mills
June 13th Ben Woodley
June 20th Kamie
June 27th Louie
Trips: We will be visiting Upware Field Studies Centre on June 3rd for a Food and Farming day to support our topic and will let you know of any additional trips as they happen!
